I have found one previous reference to the French engineer/design M. Lucien-Charles Labourot on the forum. https://lighterclub.xobor.de/topic.php?f...Labourot#p11285.

Here are two different Labourot-patented designs assigned to the firm Le Métal Moderne of Paris during the early 1930s. The 'Conquerant' table lighter uses the same semi-automatic pocket lighter mechanism as FR788258. I believe this same patent applies to 'MP' Thumb Press No.15 shown on p.92 of Peter Brooks' "100 Great Mechanisms". Labourot has several other very interesting lighter patents filed, some assigned to Jean Borne/Lancel, as well as patents for razors, lipstick holders, purse clasp, and new methods for machining brass(!). Based on his patents, Labourat seems like a very innovative designer. Can other members share any photos or other information about Le Métal Moderne or Labourot?

Labourot hat einige andere sehr interessante leichter Patente anmelden, einige bis Jean Borne zugewiesen / Lancel sowie Patente für Rasierer, Lippenstift Halter, Geldbeutel-Verschluss, und neue Methoden für die Bearbeitung von Messing (!). Auf der Grundlage seiner Patente, scheint Labourat wie eine sehr innovative Designer. Können andere Mitglieder über Le Métal Moderne oder Labourot keine Fotos oder andere Informationen teilen?
